To successfully "clone" the previous page

Create a link

  • If you are unsure how to create a link, click on "edit" at the top of the page, and you can copy and paste the "Dennis's First Assignment" link, changing my name to yours.

Clone your selected wiki into the link

  • If you are unsure how to do this:
    • After confirming that the link was made, click on it. This will open up a new, blank page in the wiki editor. Now, find the page you wish to "clone". You can find the page's source code by clicking on the "view source" link at the top of that wiki's page. Copy the entire source code. Then, go to your First assignment link, which you created in step 1. Paste the entire source code into the editor.

You have now cloned a wiki page. Congratulations, editor!

  • At the top of the page, you should add text that includes your name. Remember, you can always do Trial and Error with wiki. Simply make your alterations and click "show preview". If things look right, you can "save page". If they look wrong, you can "cancel".

Now, about adding the feedback.

Go to the "discussion" page and paste the worksheet there into in your page's discussion page.

  • If you are unsure about what this is or how to do this:
    • A discussion (or "talk") page is a page that allows you to add comments or critiques about the wiki page without affecting the main article that everyone sees. This page is edited like any other page, but is more of the "discussion behind the scenes". In this page, simply paste your filled out Wiki Feedback form. You can also edit, add, or remove text prior to saving. As always, once you have your entire feedback entered, click "show preview", and if things look okay, you can "save page".
